This was my first attempt at fretwork and the very first project I did when I bought my DeWalt 788. The first picture is the unmounted plaque laid on a piece of Black Walnut Burl veneer. The second picture is the finished item backed with Makore Burl veneer. It was finished with butcher block oil. This plaque was one of 4 cut out of 1/4" plywood, and was also my first attempt at stack cutting. They were made as gifts and the first one has already been given away.
I am planning to cut some other signs and plaques, and I will post pictures when they are completed.
